Matthew Saunders

Psychodynamic Psychotherapist
(MBACP, UKCP)

Individuals

I am a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist, registered with BACP and accredited with UKCP, and have been providing counselling for people with a wide range of issues for over ten years. I achieved a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy from WPF Therapy (London) and, since then, have worked as a counsellor and supervisor for a charitable organisation in Oxfordshire, at the St Marylebone Healing and Counselling Centre and in private practice in London and Reading.

I can offer you the chance to talk through your feelings in a supportive, confidential environment and to gain a greater understanding of yourself and your experiences. This can pave the way towards a more fulfilling life where choices and decisions can begin to feel like opportunities rather than obstacles.

I will work with you on an open-ended basis or for an agreed time period, with the aim of enabling you to enhance your life and to live it more fully.

Here are some of the difficulties that I can help with:

• Stress, anxiety and panic attacks • Depression • Low self-esteem • Problems in forming or maintaining relationships • Feelings of loss, bereavement • Redundancy • Addiction

Fees and Availability

I am available at The Therapeutic Rooms on Wednesday and Friday afternoons/evenings after 2pm. The fee for an initial consultation of ninety minutes is £80 and then £65 for each fifty minute session thereafter, at the same time each week.

If you would like to arrange a meeting, you can reach me by email or by phone and I will be happy to talk things through or write back to you.
