What We Offer
What We OfferWhat We Offer
What We OfferIndividual Therapy
As we go through life we inevitably encounter suffering, no matter how hard we may try to avoid it. Whilst sometimes it might be sufficient to turn to a friend or family member, there are times when our experiences are more difficult to understand and disentangle. Counselling and psychotherapy provide a non-judgemental space, away from everyday life, where you can talk freely and in confidence about your problems and concerns, your present worries and troubles, the experiences that have shaped you, and your hopes and aspirations for the future.
To access individual counselling or psychotherapy, please go to our Who We Are page, select the therapist you would like to see, and enquire with the therapist directly.

Couples Counselling
Couples therapy provides a space for couples to discuss their difficulties with a neutral third party. This includes any two people in a close or intimate relationship, irrespective of your gender, sexuality or relationship context. You may be married, single, friends/business partners, in a long-term partnership, divorced parents or in a relatively new relationship; all relationships can face challenges at some point.
Couples Therapy aims to facilitate communication and for many couples it resolves difficulties which may have seemed insurmountable. Sometimes couples counselling can help to end a relationship on good terms.
To find out more and speak to a couples’ counsellor about starting couples therapy, please contact one of our couples’ therapists:

Family dynamics often have a central role to play in the difficulties of individual family members and sometimes it is useful to work with the wider system of the family as a whole.
Family therapy, which is also often referred to as systemic therapy can help with a wide range of issues including child and adolescent behaviour, divorce and separation, parenting issues and adult mental health.
For anyone interested in exploring family therapy, please contact Antoine Huon

Meditation and Mindfulness
Being in a state of meditation and mindfulness is about being present with what is, often bringing about a sense of calm and peace, and for many people can be a transformative and healing practice.
We usually run a Mindfulness Group on Friday mornings, facilitated by Nicola Whitworth, but unfortunately, due to current circumstances, the group is currently on hold. We hope for the group to resume as soon as possible.
Beatrice Pelissier currently offers an online meditation session on Friday lunchtimes, and a deep guided relaxation on Wednesday evenings.

Personal Development Groups
Personal development is a life-long process and may cover a range of activities which increase awareness of who you are, how you interact and may deal with certain situations.
What is on offer at the Therapeutic Rooms is still developing and we are still at the beginning stages of exploring the possibilities for setting up some groups and workshops for personal development.
Some of the ideas we have recently been working on are about Creative Writing for Well-Being and some personal development workshops facilitated by a drama therapist.
We will list any new developments here in the future.

Tina Greenhill
Counsellor / Psychotherapist and Systemic Practitioner

I am a fully accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. I trained as an integrative counsellor at MSc level, qualifying in 2005. Since then I have completed further extended trainings in Cognitive Therapy and Systemic (couples/family) Therapy. I attend numerous shorter trainings to continue developing as a practitioner.
I have 13 years of experience and have worked with many presenting issues in settings such as; private psychiatric hospitals, education, the NHS and the charity sector. I currently work in private practice with individuals and couples. My main interests are relationship difficulties, depression and anxiety. Alongside private practice, I also work for a charity providing specialist psychotherapy to individuals and couples affected by brain injury.
For me, the most important part of therapy is to experience a supportive and confidential space to explore and express oneself without judgement. This provides the foundation for working together to gain understanding and insight into problems and think about ways forward. I prefer to work integratively because it allows me to find an approach which will suit each person I work with. The theories I draw from help us to think together about your life experiences, and make connections to current struggles or unhelpful patterns of behaviour. I also provide psycho education and Cognitive Behavioural strategies to help people feel empowered.
Session Fees
From £50 to £90 depending on income.

Omara Naseem
Chartered Counselling Psychologist
(HPS, HCPC reg.)
Individuals, Couples, and Adolescents

As a practitioner, I am warm, friendly and laid back. I believe in establishing a good rapport which fosters a nurturing therapeutic relationship which encourages and empowers an individual to make healthier changes. I see clients with a wide variety of different presenting issues and consider myself an integrative practitioner. These issues may range from eating disorders, stress and anxiety, burnout, to depression, relationships, self-esteem issues, bereavement, obsessive worrying, life changing events, body image, ageing, sexuality, women’s issues and physical health and illness.
I use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Person Centred and Psychodynamic approaches and offer an integrative therapy which is tailored to meet the needs of the individual. The former explores the links between thoughts, feelings and behaviours and encourages clients to modify unhelpful thinking patterns and behaviours. The latter believes in the client’s own sense of personal agency and encourages them to access their own inner resources and strengths. In broad terms, this means that I can access a range of helpful interventions that can help clients break with unhelpful patterns and develop new coping styles.
I see clients for time-limited therapy as well as offering longer term contracts where appropriate. Many of my clients return to me for short periods when life events require them to seek further support and I welcome this level of flexibility.
I see adults, couples and adolescents experiencing psychological distress and in need of therapeutic support. I am a member of the British Psychological Society and am fully accredited as a chartered psychologist. I am also registered with the Health Care Professions Council as a Counselling Psychologist. I have over 10 years of experience within a variety of settings which include the NHS, private healthcare at The Priory, charity sector and the leading Eating Disorder Outpatient Unit at the South London and Maudlsey Hospital.
