I am an accredited CBT therapist with postgraduate training in psychology, including specialist training in both Low and High Intensity CBT. I trained at King’s College London, UCL and Royal Holloway, and have a background in research and health-focused work, including specialist training in health-related CBT and addiction psychology.
I understand that reaching out for therapy can feel like a significant step. I aim to offer a warm, supportive space where you can speak openly and we can explore what’s been happening in a thoughtful and collaborative way.
My work is evidence-based, structured and collaborative, informed by cognitive approaches that explore the links between thoughts, emotions, behaviours and physical responses. I work practically to help make sense of patterns that may be contributing to ongoing difficulties, while supporting the development of self-awareness, emotion regulation and skills that can help maintain wellbeing and manage challenges more confidently over time. My approach integrates acceptance, compassion and mindfulness-based perspectives where helpful.
I work with an understanding that stress, anxiety and low mood are not isolated problems, but part of a wider system involving the mind, body and daily life. Mental health is viewed as an integral part of overall health and wellbeing.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety disorders, depression, stress and burnout, low self-esteem, sleep difficulties and health-related concerns. I also have specialist training supporting people with long-term health conditions (LTCs), psychosomatic symptoms and health anxiety, including adjustment to illness, as well as working with addictive behaviours.
If you’re thinking about starting therapy and feel this way of working might suit you, you’re welcome to reach out for an initial conversation. I offer both online and in-person sessions and work flexibly to accommodate different needs and schedules. I work in English and German.
