There are times when life can feel overwhelming, when relationships repeat familiar patterns, or when emotions become difficult to manage. You may feel disconnected from yourself, unsure of where you belong, or struggle to know and express your authentic self. Therapy provides a confidential and supportive space where you can explore these experiences, make sense of them, and begin to reconnect with who you truly are.

Because every person is unique, I adapt my approach to meet your individual needs. This may include exploring relationships through an attachment lens, using CBT and somatic techniques for anxiety, active imagination for inner child work, or taking an existential perspective on questions of purpose and meaning. With trauma, I often work with the nervous system to help restore a sense of safety and balance.

My approach is shaped by both professional training and my own journey through personal crisis and healing. I have found that even the most painful experiences can become pathways to greater self-understanding and growth. Alongside my clinical work, I draw on a long-standing meditation practice and study of Eastern wisdom traditions, integrating mindfulness and compassionate awareness into the process.

Before training as a therapist, I worked as a classical musician, an environment shaped by high standards and intense pressure from an early age. This background has given me a deep understanding of high-functioning anxiety, perfectionism, procrastination and impostor syndrome. I support people who may appear outwardly successful while struggling inwardly with self-doubt, uncertainty, or a lack of fulfilment beyond achievement.

In our work together, I will provide a space where you feel genuinely understood and met with openness, curiosity, and care. We will pay attention to recurring patterns in your relationships, emotions, and behaviours so you can develop a clearer understanding of how they shape your present. I will encourage you to reconnect with your authentic self and gently challenge limiting beliefs so you can create space for meaningful change.

At the heart of therapy is the relationship we build. My aim is to offer a safe, creative, and collaborative space where all parts of you are welcome. My work is grounded in compassion, integrity, and respect, and I am committed to supporting you in your journey towards greater clarity, resilience, and wholeness.

Experience

Alongside private practice, I worked for a number of years as a university counsellor at the London Interdisciplinary School in Whitechapel. During this time, I have developed a growing focus on working with individuals from ethnic minority backgrounds, LGBTQ+ communities, and those with ADHD. Many of my clients have faced challenges around identity, belonging, and finding authentic self-expression in environments that don’t always make space for difference.

Training

I completed my advanced diploma at Heartwood Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in the arts. As part of my professional commitment, I stay up to date with the ongoing continuing professional development requirements outlined by the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy). My recent training includes courses on IFS-informed therapy, attachment, somatic techniques and trauma-informed approaches which continue to enrich and deepen my practice.

Memberships

I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy), and adhere to their ethical framework.
