Our mutual safety and well-being is our priority

If you or someone in your household is experiencing any symptoms of Covid-19, please do not attend an in-person appointment.

This advice also applies if you have been asked to self-isolate by NHS Test and Trace.

All of our consulting rooms are spacious enough for physical distancing. If you are seeing a counsellor or psychotherapist, your therapist may just sit a little further away than usual. We provide therapy at 2m + closeness.

Masks are not mandatory in our corridors, nor during your counselling or psychotherapy appointment. However, if you prefer to wear one during your session, please discuss this with your therapist.

Any complementary therapists working from the premises will do so in line with guidance from their professional bodies.

All rooms are being ventilated between appointments, and many of our practitioners may leave the window open during your appointment (weather permitting).

A shelf with a completely natural and effective sanitiser (99.99% effective) named “HOCl” – which is the biocide our immune system produces to fight an infection – has been placed at the entrance and exit to both The Courtyard House and The Courtyard Loft.

Each consulting room and our toilets are also equipped with a sanitising station, and we have displayed signage throughout the building to remind people about hand-washing and sanitisation.

We have increased our cleaning of frequently used surfaces. All door handles and side tables are being disinfected (also with HOCl) between each client. All therapists share a commitment to keeping the space as clean as possible.

Whilst we want to ensure that your visit to our centre is as comfortable and safe as possible, we cannot provide a space that is free of all risk. All therapists and clients coming to the premises do so in accordance with their own assessment of personal risk and responsibility.
